Crop issue?

Crops should contain food and water during the day. To diagnose a crop issue, check the crop first thing in the morning before having anything to eat. The crop should be flat and empty after 12 hours no food / water.

Hi!

Hope your chicken is doing better. Have you taken her to the vet yet and/or is her crop still feeling like its filled with liquid?

If so and if other symptoms are present (that correspond with sour crop) it might be a case of sour crop; if this is indeed the case it should be treated as soon as possible.

I wrote a post about this (regarding sour crop - titled ''HOW TO TREAT SOUR CROP - SEEMINGLY EFFECTIVE - UPDATED'') - and perhaps it may help you a bit to compare the symptoms; which would seem more helpful than me fitting everything on this post.

Hope your chicken will be doing better in no time.
