One of my 1.5 year old hens isn’t looking quite right in the crop area. She has no other symptoms that I have noticed and is running around and forraging as normal as I’m typing this. She is the most skittish out of the flock so I can’t catch her at the moment but will have a feel at bed time but I just thought i would ask what everyone thinks in the meantime. Im not sure if she has just been greedy, if it’s more prominent because she is molting or it is an issue. Please let me know what you think!

Chickens can have very prominent full crops after eating all day. Just check it in early morning before she has eaten or drunk anything, when it should be empty and flat. If not let us know. What do you feed her, and do you have Poultry granite grit available?
