Hello everyone! I just thought I'd share something that worked for me with my small flock. I know this isn't feasible for a large flock!
I observe my ladies crops and poops while they're still perched in the morning, my girl Edith is molting and I noticed her poops were grainy for a couple of days, then her crop wasn't emptying all the way for two days, it was a hard small rock. I bought a small watermelon and fed it over a few days and her crop has cleared.
I have grit, oyster shell, fresh water and they free range a few times a week.
