Generally speaking, when chickens eat, especially before roost time, their crop gets quite huge. In the morning, it gets empty, and looks like the other side of chickens body. (no bulge)

I used to worry. But then I started checking their crops every few mornings. As long as they're flat/empty then, I don't worry.
And I know my birds' individual habits and appearances. Like Poppy gets a huge crop because she's a pig. However, Zinnia and Bryony don't stuff themselves as much and usually have smaller crops. And so on...
