This sounds normal to me, a squishy crop is complexity normal while their eating. As long as they are emptying over night, I wouldn't even give them the acidified copper unless I find something suspicious. I'm not an expert, and if a more experienced member says otherwise, I would go with there advice haha! Other then that, I wouldn't' worry about it to much. Keep an eye on them, but wait to give them the copper.

What do you feed that could cause impacted crop? Do you feed table scraps? Lots of bread? Or was she possibly able to get to something that could haec caused a blockage? A small piece of twine or anything small like that.

Hi thank you for your response.😊I feed them grower crumbles, kale, spinge, celery, collard greens, garlic, oregano, ginger and scratch.I wont give them table scraps im to scared lol. I only give them like a slice of bread beetween 16 chicken on rare occasions.I feel the problem is i used to wet their feed to save money and help with digestion but i would leave the feed out for hours and then my hen got sour croup and vent gleet it was to late.(im still learning 😔)So i gave my other chickens that were showing same signs but in better shape, monistat orally 2 times a day for 3 days and put cream on their bum but crop still seemes to be squishy but does empty and their breath smells like sweet peas. They eat drink and scratch so im confused on what to do. Half my flock has sweet pea breath and sqishy crops.I dont know if to wait or give them the poultry grade acidified copper and if it would hurt the other chickens with no symptoms or if im just overreacting 😱
