Thanks for the info, I am always trying to learn more. Where are the areas that lions and tigers ranges overlap??

Lions are found in Iraq and some parts of India as well as Asia. Tigers spread far and wide throughout these areas. Everything about the mating rituals of lions is "hurry up" and happens really fast, whereas tigers are very much about "take your time, slow down".

Sorry for thread jacking. I'm done now.

As I'm sure the OP knows, mourning doves and ringneck doves are definitely not the same species. Terribly sad that people would be selling ringnecks as mourning doves, but most practices of petstores don't surprise me. Heh. White doves are a form of ringneck doves. Ringnecks are the domesticated form of the African Collared Dove while Mourning Doves are a New World (American) species.

Mourning doves and ringnecks can definitely hybridize, and all offspring has been shown to be sterile (mules). Whether yours will mate or not, one can't say!

I adore ringnecks. I used to breed them, and they are absolutely sweet, tame birds, with a beautiful coo. My first male was extremely tame, and did tricks, such as "be an eagle!" and "play dead". He flew to me on command. He loved to sit in the corner of his cage and coo into the bottom so he could hear his own echo.
