The barring should pass onto all chicks to some extent. The reason I asked if they were hatchery americaunas is because they have all sorts of colors. Basically try to picture the americauna(easter egger) with barring, and that is what some chicks might look like. If you go here http://www.the-coop.org/cgi-bin/UBB/ultimatebb.cgi they have a section for genetics, that is where I learned alot about genetics and all that.
