Cross Breeding

This might be taboo here, but I was wondering if anyone would like to post pictures of Crossbred chickens, explaining which breeds were crossed and how they turned out. I'm not one to care about purebreds, I just like "pretty" chickens. I saw a chicken picture on the EE thread that was an EE crossed with a silverlaced cochin. It was gorgeous! I bought my son an incubator, and we are going to start hatching chicks. I thought this would be fun as research. Anyone interested?

I know there are several threads dedicated to just "mutt" or crossbred birds. Just do a search and you will have a pic overload in no time.

Many cross chickens unknowingly when the hatch till the birds start to grow out. In my case I have some nicer Buff Orps and wanted to see if they were able to lay a fertile egg. Sometimes line breeding reducing the productivity of a line.
This is a result of that test breeding.
