Who's kid won the most improved musician award at last nights end of the year symphonic band concert? Who's kid nearly burst into tears and/or fainted in front of everyone? Eh? Eh?!

The soda can gives you an idea of the relative size of this trophy, approximately half of La Niña Linda's personal height. I am glad for her, she is playing it cool (eg. 'I knew I was going to get it, etc.') but I think she appreciates the recognition.

She plays euphonium and baritone horn.

It is a sort of baby tuba thing (euphonium) or a giant trumpet (marching baritone horn). She has practiced on her own endlessly, sort of to the point where I used to want to run from the house. She has also been selected as center guide when they are marching which means she is the one they follow when they are marching. If she makes a mistake marching it will be repeated thru the entire band. Lots of responsibility.

I'll have no problem in any of the except javalin. The thing is the javalin has to stick in the ground to count, I can get it to ge really far but trying to get th javalin to stick in the ground .... That's a different matter.

Javelin....wow you two, that's pretty cool. And the jumping, very cool Raph! I'm good, pretty fit but no exciting sports to talk about. Oh, I practice Archery but that's a lot different than being good at it!

ouu I'd love to have a go at archery but I have weak wrists so dont think i'd do so well.
