i got a another sheep on saterday! shes a baby lamb though idk how old she is, but i know shes a baby. she is so cute! she has all different colors of brown on her and her face and neck have white mixed with brown markings. oh she is so adorable. i named her bambi.

Beth, I was watching a old British film and they kept sayin it! I though it was adorable! So I've been saying it all day.

Well...here's for hoping tomorrow we have water, part of our well went out today, hopefully we can get it fixed tomorrow, spent all day today working on it. I am Tired with a capital T!!

Was summer to dry for you that you don't have water? I'm on a well but knock on wood we have a brook running just 100 ft away and a small stream still run's right by us! Right off the mtn. so it's really cold!
How are the rest of you's? No One's Up!
Well, I'm finished waiting on that girl so I'm down one roo. I have the others on the craigslst. Wish me luck!

No the bladder in the hot water tank broke, we finally figured it out, so now we are waiting for the plumber to get here..."some time this evening" let's see how long it really takes! Good luck getting rid of your roo's!

When our bladder broke it was fixed overnight. We brought it up to him at night and we were able to pick it up the next day. But we're a small town and it's a bus. he runs out of his house.
So, how are the rest of yous?! We seem to be losing more people! Come on guy's, we don't bite!

Well, it wasn't the bladder it was the pump itself, finally got fixed last night! I'm very happy about that, annnnd wish me luck guys, today I attempt to make Feta cheese!

Save some for me!!! You have to have a goat that's had a young for the milk so you need a billy and I correct?
I would love to own a few but I am getting older and I feel it's to much work for me now to start. If I thought of backyard farming years ago I would of had pigs and beef cattle also! But I'll almost be 60 in 2 months so I shall keep to chickens. I wish my son hadn't gotten me the Pekin ducks that turned out to be drakes cuz there a lot of work! If they would of been girls it would of paid themselves off. I am getting 2 hen from a girl way up north who will be losing some animals to the humaine soc. she wants to give me 2 muscovys chicks that I'm thinking about. Plus she has goats and sheep. And more ducks, you name it! People drop things off at her barn which is 1/2 mile from the house. Its on the other side of the pond. So she can't always catch them.
