Cross Continental Friends!!!

Awesome! Did you want a broody?
Noooooo it's going to be winter soon and I am not a breeder.. pens ands coops are full with maximum of chicks, so I am taking her of the nest several times a day.

I only have peeps when some one askes for them or when some of my own die...

I also wonder where Bill is by the way.

Never heard of the breed English sheperd just looked it up, is it a variaty of a border collie??

Megan, your looking for a dog for herding your goats? Or what?
Beth, I'm totally enjoying a doc. called Monarchy (UK). It's answering a lot of my ?s about England! There's like 18 (?) episodes! Your London looks like our New York! VERY busy, very big city! Wow! But I like the villages better. The quaint ones w/ their homes lined w/ fences covered in plants and flowers everywhere and robust gardens! That's what I would love to see, inside homes like that. W/ there low ceilings and archways!

I've been catching up on our site so bear w/ me. Duck(?) Avatar boy, I too, sooner than you! So now I'm putting my Cochin in a pen w/o a house, as someone stated, in hopes to break her. At the minute, I'm not getting any eggs! I was getting arnd 6-8 a day. I have 4 that are molting, 1 Cochin out of 2 that I got in June that hasn't laid one yet! One that is just about ready to lay and the other are just not laying!!
I think Bill had enough w/ us! We made him angry asking for photos and x mass cards. But I'll PM my address to those who want to do it!
Well, I'm hungry so it's off for breakfast! BFN!

Oh so I see! I just came to end with my broodies, I was letting them sit but then I had to many chicks and not enough eggs for the household so that had to be broken!

Yes and no actually, I finally found a site last night called the American Working Farmcollie Association that explains a lot about them, originally they were called Farmcollies, an English shepherd is actually a derivative of the FarmCollie and a border collie and Australian Shepherd are both on the same "branch" as a Farmcollie, more so just singled out for other purposes. A Farmcollie or English Shepherd can do anything, herd, hunt guard, they work to please the master, where as a border collie, a hardworking very smart dog, has a very high herd drive, I use to want one of those, a BC but they are to high strung for a beginner like me, lol, unless I adopt a senior.

. I'm kidding, I just hope he's alright, not stuck under some water tank or in Jail or I don't know, hahaha.

No I don't have goats yet, when I do have goats yes, but I want a farm dog to help herd the ducks, and guard the animals and keep an eye on things when I'm away.
