It depends really, have they ever gone broody before? Sometimes when I try this they just end up eating the eggs or the eggs rot, but if they have gone broody before then some of my more reliable hens will see them and start to sit. Not much help but it's all I have right now. Good luck! Hi nope none have ever gone broody before I was thinking of making my own homemade incubator using a box a lamp and thermometer and bowl of water inside I'm hoping it works and thanks for reply

Hi Megan, Ugly, beth and the gang! Sorry Chickenboy for the lost of your cat. The dog we thought is on it's last leg is still going. We hope she makes it threw the holidays. I just wanted to let you know that the holidays get overwhelming for me so if I don't get on everyday I will do my best to get on at least once a week. Hi! I'm from Shelburne, NH USA and these pass 2 days have been in the high 20s and today 37% WOW Last weekend it was 2 degrees! I couldn't take it! I'm enjoying this little bit of warmth! I live 8 miles away from Mt. Washington Observatory where a few year's ago they had recorded the coldest weather in the world. Anyway, I can't take Florida but I could take a little warmer climate Enjoy the Holidays, I'll be back next yr! BFN

GUYS!!!!! My beautiful niece!! She is so beautiful! Born yesterday, is having some issues but things are looking up now!! Hopefully I will be allowed to finally see her tomorrow!!!!!! Once she was with her mommy things starting looking up!!

Wow that is cold, we are looking at being in the 80's today and tomorrow. I am not happy about that. Hope some of your cold weather comes my way!!
