Cross Continental Friends!!!

El Pollo Rey-if you don't mind me asking as I am rather curious and nosy, can you tell me a little more about your job in foreign trade? Sounds extremely interesting. I get the basic concept, just a general layout of what you do. I am still deciding my career path and you sparked up some interest. I imagine though that it could also be non-profit and volunteer. Done rambling now. Thanks.

finally, our starter is back

I just could dream about the holidays, it's twelve years now

who feed the animals when you are away?

I was in maybe to doing a weekend at our friend's house, a couple of years back, but, my folks doesn't wanna move from a middle mountain to an high mountain

sometimes, I'm taking two hours before taking back from a fair, I just wanna see "la battaglia delle regine" this year, but, I don't know yet the right day

Aww, I didn't know you would miss me! My brother and my goat friend fed all the animals for me. Wow, twelve years is a long time to go holiday-less! What is the battle of the queens? Never heard of that.
This is one picture of the view from our cabin.

la battaglia delle regine, it's an ancient tradition

when the cows climb to the mountain, to gone taking fresh air during the hot season, follows "la regina", usually, the oldest and strongest cow, the cow who got the bell and drive the group

when two regine come closer in the same territory, decide to fight for the supremacy of the better place

It's tradion and prestige for the farmer having the most powerful regina, he can choose the place who like and directly treat the price of the cheese with the buyers, also talk for the others

in the past years, a regina can cost also 50 - 70 millions of lire, something like 100 - 130 thousand euro of now, if she's a two or more years undefeated winner

Bill-that sounds rather an interesting sport. Now that you explain turns out I have heard of it. Is it Italy that the running of the bulls also occurs?

La Carrera de toros is a traditional run on the streets of Pamplona, Spain, during the last years become even dangerous, because the runner's number raise year after year

seeing this photos make me sweat, all that sun and all that sand between my fingers, sure not my kind of holiday, with maximum respect to who like!
