Cross Continental Friends!!!

Aunt, bah! My niece won't even talk to me and it crushes my heart. She's only 2 and a bit and I spent an entire week with her in February and no nada.
I accidentally took one too many allergy pills today and wound up taking a nap. Also sold a bunny and cleaned up a bit. Very boring day, only 94 and windy so actually pleasant. Have to feed lambs, chicks, and family then I am done.

Karen
Only 94! That's funny! Sorry your niece is so rude, seems a bit young to have formed a habit like that!

Interesting to hear what you do. What is your specific role?

I like this song partly because of the instruments and the melody but I also like it because of the message of the song, that all we really need is a place to rest and each other. It's just that when I listen to it it helps me open up and it expresses how I often feel. A slight bit lonely but always open to others and in search of people. What did you think of it?

What part of the U.S. did you visit?

Ah, yes Greenville Ohio, we have a Greenville here in South Carolina as well. My state doesnt have to many Poultry Shows, I wish we did but it is mostly just the state fair. I might try and admit a bird this year.

. We had a great time met some great breeders and seen some awesome birds as well . Have you shown your birds before ? And what breeds ?

Uh Oh! I've been asked the what breeds question! LOL I have never shown any of my birds,I raise mostly mutt chickens, a bantam assortment that I am trying to select breed to restore certain colors and features that I like. Then we have Cochin's, I love them and I could probably show those but mine enjoy brooding and raising babies. Then we have just a few Silkies (planning on buying more) and some Easter Eggers. My bird of choice is ducks though. I wanted Runners and ended up with a runner mix (love them anyway though but looking for pure stock) and I am buying some Ancona ducklings rather soon. If I could have any chicken I wanted for show stock it would be either the Polish (forgive me Bill) or the Phoenix.
