Cross Continental Friends!!!

Dealing with male breeding livestock: please be careful, folks. My ram got me down and started grinding me to a pulp...this is a sheep! Bulls kill folks all the time. Get someone to fix the fence and don't do it yourself if you can avoid it. Be careful!,

. Not to many folks keep bulls any more AI has become the norm back in Ohio where I'm from it's hard to justify the cost of keeping a bull any more.

We found where he came in. He's smart but were smarter!
It's not nice out today so I won't be able to poke my nose in on her a lot. I just finished cleaning (to my liking) since i got ms i don't do as much as before ha ha I've been disabled since 05. So a few yrs ago I got on the craigslist and found a guy 50miles away and he met me 1/2 way and thats when I picked up Chaz and the girls. Last summer I picked up the RIR's and I've regretted it since. The guy had Brams? their suppose to be really friendly. My niece started Chic's a little while ago so this spring she sent me 2 silkies, 2 buff orp. and 1 now cockerel. He's all black w/ a sheen of teal. But we don't want him cuz we don't have a mate for him.
Yeah thats ok, I'm in South Carolina. Oh good, glad you have the problem solved! We have had quite the experiences with predators so I know how much not fun they are! I hear the RIR's are mean, is that why you regret it? Silkies are awesome! I love my silkie roo!

Whats up Megan all well I hope ? Same ole same ole here the wife bougt three new turkeys last night two bronze toms and a hen they are just six months old and I jokingly told her I could not wait till November lol I'll post pics over the weekend

Hello El pollo rey! Things are going well here. Think I found a home for the rest of the rabbits! Well, some of them. So I'm excited about that. And coming closer to the Ancona duck hatch day. Sadly those two little chicks I helped died. They were odd cases in the first place, so I wondered if they would make it. I just love how the cherry trees in our chicken yard hang real low to the ground when it rains, right at face level, oh joy! Smelly, yelly chickens and drippy, sticky leaves! A beautiful combination! lol I wouldn't trade it for anything though. Haha, yeah I bet you can't wait, especially with so many toms now! I look forward to those pictures!

Hi Everyone!
I've been out w/ Sofie and she's not eating nor drinking. Some are saying to put her down. I feel the eye that was there is now swollen so that's why shes not moving arnd. What do you think?
I wanted to order turkeys but hubby said no. I can't push it, at times, ha ha. Hes been working for my girls and now the ducks so the toms can come another day! How are they to raise? Do they take any special needs? Hey Pollo, let me know how it goes!?
My favorite beach is in Old Orchard Beach Me. It's beach, parks, amusements everything right there. Go up and your in the country! I'm country, there are approx. 45 homes in our village. Were not a town. I would love the south except in the summer. ha ha it's way to hot for me. We had frost 2 nights ago!

Well if she continues to not eat then yes, I would put her down. It would be better for her than starving, as hard as it is to do. You have ducks? Cool, what kind?
Just googled Old Orchard Beach, Very pretty place. Sounds a lot like our Myrtle Beach. It sure does get hot here in the summer! Sometimes even in the winter! It's hot, hot, humid and raining right now. Frost sounds nice!

Where are you, other than washing the dog in another room!
