I have no problem with people hunting I myself enjoy hunting and fishing as my dad and grandad my sons also hunt we were all raised close to the land we farmed and the outdoors never did any stocked hunts but have done some guided hunts for brown bear and Dall sheep out west we were always taught not to kill just to kill and we ate what we shot or caught if we could not eat it all it was donated to food banks we never bragged about just killing things and always were respectful of the land and wildlife,,,,, just sayin

Oh no, don't get me wrong, I wasn't trying to sound anti hunt! I love hunting, and that people hunt and use the kills. I want to go hunting myself sometime! Sorry if I sounded like I was against it, I'm really not.

Hunting's find w/ me but to stock a tank and just shoot them is cruel to me. If you know of a spot in the woods where they fly in the picture in your head that you think about. When men/girls go out to hunt. Thanks fine. But to got to a duck thread and brag about shooting them. Find another site that goes for that. I'll be back later, girls want to have fun! ha ha

Hubby and I are anxiously waiting for La Niña Linda to graduate from high school so I can divest myself of critters and we can hop into our whooptie and drive to Tierra del Fuego. I mentioned in passing to hubby that learning Spanish might be helpful so he gave that assignment to me. My understanding is that you want to avoid....whatzit called, the Pan Pacific (?)Highway and go more local. I am just hoping my parents can hold it together health wise so we can actually get to go! Nice to hear someone has basically done the majority of the trip in reverse. I do have a quandary when it comes to Panama and how to get a vehicle around to South America but whatever.

Well the pan America is actually the only route you can take,, so impossible to avoid,,, here in cost rica it's known as CR routa 2 down south Its panama routa 1 to proceed past the Darien gap with a car or a bike you have two options there is a ferry from panama city across the gulf of panama to turbo Columbia but the turbo area is on the columbian side of the darian and still a little dangerous a lot of para military groups and farc activity in and around turbo it's basically the cocaine super highway north to Mexico so a lot of guys I run into that are doing the pan am on bikes are avoiding Columbia all together and using option 2 on the pacific side of panama port of David there is a roll on roll off ship the will take your car or bike to Quito Ecuador and you can jump on a small prop plane and fly into Quito and meet back up with your vehicle after customs and duty of course there you drive south to pick up the pan am and continue to the ground of fire and ice ,,, the pan am is the longest continuous highway system on the planet over 6700 miles in total short of the Darien witch is passable if you have the guts for it can be driven from the tip of Alaska to Tierra del Fuego I have met many guys over the years on bikes that have done the whole route some twice it takes around ten weeks by bike with limited stops and most time being wasted with border crossings and corrupt transit cops so have cash for pay offs you have been warned lol

My niece's daughter Mya who is 10 yr's old raised some chickens in her 4H group. She sent me 5

I'm so proud of her!
I received 2 silkies, 2 buff orpingtons and 1 ? rooster there 18 weeks old. Some traded or kept what they hatched. She traded! Now my question is;

What breed is it?




He's black with a teal sheen to him.
I wish I could take a better picture but he is not a friendly cuss. So I took some in our tractor and this is one of the better ones. He doesn't stay still for us.
