Cross Continental Friends!!!

Oops I forgot I need a hand with some names 4 a few chickens! I'm looking 4 Victorian names 4 my fancy pant girl's. They make me think of pantaloons!

ou yeah i forgot about that, how about, winnifred, constance, josephine, henrietta (hettie) (may have to pinch that one if i ever get a chook), mildred, gladys, bertha, bessie, gertrude (gertie), agnes, blanche, beatrice, eleanor, harriet, hilda, matilda, marjorie, sylvia, isabelle. What do you think, any good? I love henrietta, think that's genius. Why is it easier to name other peoples animals than your own!!!

Constance, prudence, bess, and sally.
Or

Zona, zelva, Zelda, and Zelma the names of my grandma and her sisters, swear to it! They went by bobby, sally, Frieda, and jane.

Helen, Maryanne, Gwendolyn, and Beth

Oh, the march sisters from little women, uh, uh, Josephine and Beth and....the other two, Christine? Meg!

Hazel, Fanny, daisy, and Karen!

Karen

Nice! I have 4 others so I'll keep it in mind!
No, for those girls I'm thinking of 1890s names Britain type. Like Gwendolyn robinhood?!
Or the queen?

Hi guys, sorry i haven't been on in a while, how are you all?
The weather over here is lovely all my chicken are loving it.

not last Sunday but the Sunday before that we went to the local poultry sale,we took to golden Brahma hens for sale. They were my older brothers hens and he got so badly ripped off. over here a Brahma hen is worth 20-25. as soon as we got to the sale this guy was trying to buy them of us, and he was Irish so he was being pushy and my brother couldn't really understand him. also my brothers 15 so he was being a dopey teenager and accepted 25 for both the hens.but we did buy 3 light Sussex hens for 20, so they will be for breeding warrens with a Rhode island red cockerel.
Next time the sale is on I'm going take a pair of Sumatra's, the cockerel isn't that good and the hen he is with has never layed and egg since we've had her, so ill take the pair and ask for 30-40 for them.

My two Sussex hens and my fowl size Sumatra hen down the bottom.

Bonjour OK that's about all the French I can spell. God forbid you hear me talking, it's been yrs. since my family's death that I don't use it. I've lost it!
Oh well Hay Ralp, doesn't my Columbian Wyandotte look a lot like your Sussex hen? And what does marrow mean? I'm new to having rooster around.
OMG I thought of a name for one of my pantaloons babe's the Cochin, Lady Primrose of Hygate Park. I've probably spelled hygate wrong, I'll have to do some research on it.
Bought my ducks a new pool yesterday,. The old one had to many leaks and my son fixed it and sprayed it w/ a special black paint and they never went in after that, odd isn't it?
Amber, how's the kitten? Any name for him yet, spending some special time w/ him to make him love you?

Sadly we are not keeping the kitten, a couple reason's actually. Firstly, and please don't think me cruel and heartless, but if you do I'm quite used to it, he isn't really what I'm looking for in a kitten. I understand that scratching and climbing can be dealt with and it's not even that, it's just that he could care less about companionship. He's a great cat and loads of fun to play with and will make someone else a great cat so we are looking for a home for him. I want a kitten but we are not in a situation to have one right now either.

You are not cruel and heartless and could never be my dear friend! And just to point out that because you've recognised that he isnt right for you and you are rehoming him proves that or you'd happily be subjecting him to a miserable unwanted life! So it's better for you and for kitty cat. xxx
