Cross Continental Friends!!!

Hay Megan,
Don't feel bad, I feel the same way w/ pets. You know it's for you, when you make that connection. When we walked into the Humane Center a few yrs ago, we had been to others and had not made any connection w what we saw. Then when we stopped in one, pow, I knew I didn't want a boy but he just sat at my feet letting me pick up the others. When I'd go back to him, he would purr and I'd put him down and do it again. He just kept up doing the same. I had to take him and it hasn't been a mistake. He's been a perfect angel, say I'm cruel, but I had him declawed and he doesn't go out. And I don't regret it at all. He's not interested in going out so it works out great for us. I have had cats out and lost them to animals. DD has shoveled up remains and we said no more. They stay inside and my vet was very happy w/ that. So chin up, you to will find a pet. But aren't you going to college? Would it be left alone?

I'm not going to school for several more months actually, and even then I'm still going to be home everyday and depending on what I go to school for it might not even be everyday. Your cat story is adorable.I don't think that's cruel, cruel would be if you had him declawed and set him loose outside to fend for himself.

Aww, is that him?
Yes yes yes!!! Who rescued who! Oh I do love him, and he loves me! He must have esp, cuz here he is!
I have a ?.
I have a cockerel and he always crows? when we come arnd. I know it's to tell his girls there's something coming. But I would like to know it I could cage him up somewhere in the back so he doesn't see movement as he does now. Could he be alone or does he need to have a partner (poor thing) w/ him always? I'd hate to pimp out a girl to him and wear her out or should I change them weekly or more? Should I make a saddle? or apron for this lover? What do you call it and them..I feel so bad but I do want some chicks from him as he should grow up to be very beautiful!
DD is not to happy about the extra chic's to come but I have no trouble w/ It

So his crowing is a problem? You could separate him and a pair is fine but a trio is better. So one roo, two hens. A saddle is only needed if you see wear on the hen, very few of my hens have that much wear, but then again, I have so many.

Thanks, I was wondering about that! Maybe the hens he's been raised w/. But then I want him w/ my Americana's. I have a GLW that I would like to mate w/ the B. Orpington's. I think the colors would be beautiful. The A & A are both good layers but I hate to set the buff's w/ a broody hen maker. But I do have another GLW hen I hope (1 peep)
