Yes, usually chickens are pretty stressed out by the move and won't lay for a while but they should get back into it if they know where the nest boxes are and they are happy.

Thanks, yes most Wheaten Maran hens/ pullets look the same. But when you look at them closer you can see their individuality and the roosters are very different. They are a bit scruffy at the moment, but then again they did have a very long car trip.

YES!!! we get snow.....sometimes.lol. but you have to go to the mountains and even then it's only a few mountains that get snow and the ski slopes are pretty much all artificial snow any way.

this is randy the male Cayuga who's a pain the arse or at least the girl's. Up for rehoming atm.

the white Aylesbury is jemima his wife and the other is their daughter victim 1.

From left to right scrumpy, spotty, Ethel, Mr t and lucky.

this is them today. They seem to be moulting!? I had no idea they'd do it so young, their proper feathers have only been there about a month. What does this mean!? Something hormonal?

And Whose Angus, I should know her? She can have him if she's cute and has money! He's fussy hu! lol He's burnt w/ women right now. The last one took the title to his truck and her friend had a quick cash for title company so they forged the paper's and gave her $ for it and so he would have to pay her bill before he could sell his truck! Not to mention she took off.

Oh right! I completely forgot about that! SO my ducks go through what seems to be a moult at around the same age. They lose some of their feather's but not all. Are you finding wing feather's or downy feathers or what? Funny as it sounds if I see any feather loss I give them some cat food for extra prtein. It really helps.
