Ah yes, you have a good point Karen! Still fun to guess though, but I'll stop before I scare him away!

So I can't get the hen to sit where I want her to, she quit brooding when I moved her so I swapped her out for a different one. I have nine duck eggs for her, I hope they are still fertile by the time I get a hen to sit on them!

get some sticky tape and stick her down lol. Silly chicken. Is this the one that kept going broody and the eggs then got eaten?

It's not the exact same chicken, when one hen goes broody almost all of them do! That's why I'm trying to move her and have sit somewhere other than the coop, so they don't get eaten again. The tape is a good idea, lol, might just have to try that !

I think jemima is broody, she doesnt seem to come out of the duck house straight away like the other 2 but then she soon abandons the egg. I wonder what would happen if I left a load of eggs in there, if she's stay in or not. Not that I need anymore ducks, I already have too many!
