I was wondering if you had a perspective on what we calls naked neck chickens here. Are they truly that much more heat tolerant? Good broody hens? Good meat qualities or....?
If I were to cross a naked neck rooster on my tricoleur hens how many generations before I get a naked neck? I am looking for a BIG meat bird with fewer feathers and really like my tricoleurs for temperament.
Ideas or just perspective would be appreciated!

at first, do you've got to tell me more about these hens, about their weight, increasing speed, also related at the food consumption

also a picture could be appreciate to understand a little more

all I could tell you about turkens is a description

they're fast growing, females are discrete layers of big eggs, heat tolerant, not so crazy like other breeds, much easier to take under control

rooster could be extremely jealous of the coop and his girls, some of them are fighter, also if they look so chubby, I've got a 6 kg cock really defensive

the brood could be a problem about the weight, they could fit also 16 eggs, but, it's better if there aren't jumps entering on the nest, or no one of these eggs is safe for 21 days long, they could also brood duck's or goose eggs, much more stronger

the meat is good if you search something more red, especially the legs, salty and big

what kind of rooster do you think to use, a commercial hybrid, a Transylvania, a Forez, a Ga Noi? (if you've got the Madagascar and don't tell me all about them, I'll bite you!)

the percentage of naked neck sons change toward the kind you use
