Cross Continental Friends!!!

Still on vacation, yes, until Tuesday. I am going tomorrow to see my friend Christine who I have know for the last 39 years. I haven't physically see her in14 years though we speak all the time. I am nervous as I have gotten rather FAT and she is still pretty like a model. Oh, well!
My elderly neighbor gave me 80 quilt blocks in the monkey wrench pattern that are made in 1930's vintage fabric. My mother is having her 80th birthday on August 9th and I am going to quickly throw a quilt top together and give it to her without it actually being quilted. Then I'll talk to her and find out how she wants it finished and will go from there. I figure, a vintage 1930's mom, a vintage 1930's quilt, very fun! I am going to do a customized block and have everyone sign it in India ink with birthday wishes. Tremendous fun all around!

Hi bill! When I was in rome I went to a coffee bar that the locals used first thing in the morning! It was crazy! Like a pub in the evening, it was so busy! I loved the chocolate covered coffee beans on the counters!

Okay, the 39C I can handle but 96% RH, no! It's so dry where I live when the RH gets above 20% we whine like little kids.
This has been a week of mechanical failure, two family trucks dead far away from home. I have the only running car and I'm getting ready to drive 3 1/2 hours home and strand them in this campground!

I am not looking forward to going back to work...

We raise cattle, horses, goats, sheep, dogs, turkeys, geese, ducks, and chickens. I want to major in anything horse-y, but have no idea what yet!

You should talk to Megan, another member whose arnd your age and is looking into what she wants to be. If it would be me I would be sharing a dorm w/ you! I wanted anything horse, right down to my man! I said I wouldn't marry any guy who wouldn't get me a horse! Right now it's going on 38 yr's and I don't think there's any chance of getting one now! lol She's leaning to milk goats now so she's not online as much. I'm sure you know all about that! Plus you have the same closing posting whatchamacallit! lol You make our places look small! Maybe Bill's would be that size but I'm not sure about the animal's. Closest one would be MR MKK FARMS BUT I THINK oops, you still have him beat! OOOHHH!! DD is taking it easy but he's working on Kings new home, that's my GLW born 3/15, he's so big and he's doing the nasty to all the girls so he's getting a new home. Thanks MR MKK FARM, I didn't want to, I wanted to keep him w/ the ladies as I lost 4 this summer but I can't see them running away from him all the time. It's one thing if I let them loose al the time. This summer was the first time I did and that was because Brandon got me the ducks and I had to put them in the girls cage. So that cost me 4 of my good layers! Should I decide to let them go loose again maybe I will let them get together again.? Not sure about that, I just know that I enjoyed having them arnd. Well, talk to you all at a later time. Take care of yourselfs~
