I have just caught one of my Cali quail and he has a cross over beak
Is this a big problem for breeding from him???
he is in superb condition so it does not hamper him
    Thanks Chris

All depends on what caused it. was it incubation or is it genetic? Not really anything you can do to find out except breed it and see if the babies get the same condition. Sometimes the top beak just grows too quickly and needs to be trimmed regularly to keep it from causing an issue.
