Cross species infection?

I have bacterial pneumonia. I am on anti-biotics.

But, I am expecting a new batch of babies tomorrow. How likely is it that I could infect them? I will have been medicated for three days. Should it be OK as long as I keep my distance from them for another few days??

Thank you. I checked with several others who said I am probably not contagious anymore to humans or chickens so all is good.


(I don't think I am going to tell DH and the kids though! They need to keep thinking they have to take care of the chickens for at least a few more days!) LOL!!
