If i were to put a pure white bobwhite cock bird with lets say 3 pure snowflake bobwhite hens, let them mate etc, would the off spring produce a snowflake cock bird?
as im doomed, got the snowflake hens, but no cock birds.

some of the Bobwhite people will know .give them time to get on here and see your post/question.
you might also post it with the heading worded a little differently..like Bobwhite color genetics or what have you....draw more attention...?

OR you could also P.M. JJMR743 or whatever his username is . He would know if anyone does .

Would be best to use a mexican speckle male(with thesnowflake gene), because that is what snowflakes are, then save males that are split snowflake....KEEP GOOD RECORDS.

How did this go? Didn't realise they were about in uk in 2011

I'm tempted by a local snowflake cock.

So interested if I need pure whites or mexis

You have a chance of getting a snowflake male if you cross your Regular bob to your snowflake hens....but He will be related to your hens and will be a carrier of the regular color pattern....It would be best to use a mexican speckled as snowflakes were derived from them.
