Has anyone ever crossed chicken breeds? What would you get crossing rhode island red and white leghorn?

I'm pretty sure that an RIR rooster (gold gene breed) crossed with a White Leghorn (silver gene breed) hen will give you a Red sex-link.

I was also trying to figure out how to make a delaware. I think it is a barred rock and new hampshire red but I am not totally sure.

Nope, no sex link from this cross.

You'll get a predominantly white bird with some red/buffish spots or could happen to get some with black spots.

The hen needs to be Silver based and most White Leghorns are not Silver based.
