I am currently incubating eggs which are a combination of Dominique Roo and white Leghorn hen. I have read that you can color sex the chicks when there is a barred hen and nonbarred roo. Does it work the same with a barred roo and nonbarred hen?
I was wondering if the males might be white and the females barred. Does anyone have any experience in this type of situation? I am going into lockdown on Monday with these little guys, and I do have some pure Dominiques in the incubator also. I can't wait to see what they'll look like! Thanks.
