Anyone with experience know what I would get if I crossed a sdw cock with a br hen? And a sdw cock with a bb red hen? Thanks

Just double checking, Silver Duckwing Cock bred to a Brown Red Hen & a Silver Duckwing Cock bred to a Black Breasted Red Hen yeah? been a few years since I was in shows with oegbs and I dont wanna mix up the shorthand names :D

1. Birchen pullets and Brown Red cockerels (http://kippenjungle.nl/kruising.html?mgt=E:e+/e+,S:S/(S)&fgt=E:E^R/E^R)

2. Silver Duckwing pullets and Golden/Yellow Duckwing cockerels (http://kippenjungle.nl/kruising.html?mgt=E:e+/e+,S:S/(S)&fgt=E:e+/e+)

I can plug in the math of the genetics but the one thing I can't tell you is how good Quality these chicks will turn out, since you'd be mixing patterns. I wouldn't expect too much of a drop in quality if say for example you bred a birchen to a gold red (which is just golden birchen) but I don't know for these crosses, although I suppose one way to know is to breed them :D good luck!

You wouldn’t get brown red cockerels from SDW x brown red, you’d get leaky birchens that are gold/silver split, which would appear yellowish silver.
SDW x BBR would get you a pretty even pattern, since those are both the same pattern, just in different colors.
