crosswalk or no crosswalk this woman is suppose to be there to PROTECT & SERVE not ever almost run someone over.

yes she stopped, i was about halfway through, one lane in each direction..as i was crossing she was coming from my right side

I'd have to look it up, but if you are not past a certain point, vehicles can cross on the far side, and once you are past midpoint, they can cross behind you, but that may require multiple lanes, and almost certainly that will vary by state. You can probably download a copy of your state's driving manual (such as you use when studying for your driver's license test), and see what it has to say about crosswalks.

In minnesota they have to stop when you step off the curb

yeah and she passed in front of me at like about 10 or 15mph not that fast but if i wouldnt have slowed down when she passd i would have hit the side of the car

I think its the same here for california
