I saw one of my hens looking like she had some work to do. [IMG]

She ran over to a secluded area and I went looking for her after a while and this is what I saw....

lucky you I found 6 in mine, I was doing so well keeping track of what eggs I was getting, considering I only had a hen and 1 pullet laying was fairly easy, my pullet hadn't laid for 3 days when I went away then dh says to me my 1st night away you got a big egg and a little egg today, ok she took a 3 day break thats fine, he told me never more then 1 little egg and a big egg in the nest box. I come home look in the egg carton and low and behold 3 tiny white eggs and 4 little cream eggs my dh never looked for any difference in the eggs, so now i'm thinking what the hey they can't lay on the same day or something and thinking it has to be the other girl who looks ready. I finally get a day off to watch who is laying and darn if I don't hear a song coming from under the lawnmower ramp to the shed theres a pile of 6 tiny white eggs now I've had the girls locked up for 2 days so they couldn't hide the eggs and I still only got the cream 1 and 1 white the girl that was singing wasn't my 1st white egg layer so I'm stumped now
