I came home and my 3 year old D'uccle/Silkie rooster had something sticking out of his mouth.I thought it was his tongue swollen but when I looked closer it was attached to the back of his tongue but it was a big pink fleshy thing with a small hole in it.When he breaths hot air come out the hole.It was a thick as kilbasa sausage and approx 3 inches long.I manged to get it back into his mouth and it flopped down his throat and now hes having an easier time breathing.Any ideas as to what it was or if it will reoccur??? Ive never seen this
