I am about a week and a half behind you. I ordered 25 pullets from the hatchery that are 6 1/2 weeks now and I know for sure I have one rooster, but I guess not bad since I was told to expect about 10% odds of getting one. I am wishful thinking- hoping he will be a very late crower, as they are city chickens.

as a frequent craigslister, i will tell you that i might give him away free to a good home on the pets section of craigslist if you want him to actually find a home.

if you want a fee for him, then you need to sell him with no strings attached for whatever purpose the person intends under farm and garden.

no one who knows anything about roosters is going to adopt one as a pet for a fee, no matter what the c-list policy is. but, with free to a good home under pets, the person wont' know what they're getting into, lol, but he will probably find a home.

otherwise, under farm and garden and just dont' ask what they intend to do.
