Hi everyone! So, my dilemma is this: for the last few days, one of my three silver-laced wyandottes has taken up the early morning habit of attempting to crow like a rooter. It sounds mangled and kind of terrible, to be quite honest, but good on her for giving it a good ol' try. The problem is, #1 it's waking me up at 6AM each day (unappreciated alarm clock), and #2 I live in a residential area where we are not allowed to keep roosters. Has anyone had this problem in a similar situation, and is there a solution other than eventually having the rehome the hen? I've had her for a year and a half and am quite attached, but I don't want my neighbors to complain, either. Advice would be great! Will she keep doing this forever? Is there a way to coax her to stop? Thanks!
