Crowing hen!

IMO no crow collars don't work and are cruel.
Is bringing him inside as a house chicken an option?
They make poultry diapers that are very efficient. They are a little unattractive so maybe adding a pretty dress would help.
You can still take him outside for fresh air and sunshine occasionally but maybe get a stroller so nosey neighbors can't get to close a look.
Just please don't rehome or eat this little guy. Just because he is a male doesn't mean he doesn't deserve to live.
Happy Roostering
I'm sorry but I just read your signature and I'm DYING :lau

I too have a very vocal hen, not exactly a crow, I don't know what you'd call it, but she surely does put her 2 cents in.
I guess trying to describe what Chanel says...so the typical hen talk is like "Bock, Bock, Bock" except hers can be a very loud, very long "Bahhhhhhhhhhck" and here is a pic of her doing it! See the open beak? I'm tellin ya, she was talking! She does it much more when molting, so I am thinking this must be how a hen bitches & complains!
Too funny!
My Alberta- a Buff Orpington, would do that. I call it hollaring. She would stand at the gate and hollar at me in the morning until I brought the feed. She would hollar at me in the evening from the coop doorway until I went inside in the evening. I think, as top hen, she thought she it wsa her job to keep everyone-even me- in line. She was certainly bossy. Since I live in the city limits with city neighbors, I had to rehome her to a friend who was rural. She is almost 6 yrs old and doing fine. However, when she joined the new flock and was not numero uno, she quit hollaring.
