Crowing Hen?

Hey all been a while since I've been through here, quite frankly everything with our girls has been going swimmingly. Of ocurse until today. Our EE has been honking a very loud BAGAAAWWWKF all day. She's been laying for weeks, has never done this before, and there haven't been any boys around for at least a month and a half. So is she trying to crow or is she just PO'ed about something else?

I have heard of hens crowing to pick up the slack or whatnot when roosters leave, but it's been so long, it's awfully confusing, not to mention annoying.

It actually stopped today. Our theory was she got something lodged into a nostril. She's crazy, anyway, and doing well!
