my oldest chickens are less than 8 weeks old and the darndest think this morning I was out in the yard and I heard some amatuer crowing going on. I didnt think they started this behavior this soon!!!

our sicilian buttercup cockeral started at 7 weeks.

I highly recommend Julia Child's Coq au vin recipe. It is really good, especially if you take the time to let the chicken marinate overnight.
