crows least...

I don't think my roo crows at all during the night. If he does I can't hear him and his coop is up next to my house.

We don't have night time crowers either. There was a time when a little light was getting in the coop at night and he would crow but we fixed that quick.

If there's the slightest bit of light getting into the coop at night, such as from a street light a rooster can crow at night if he's so inclined. Sometimes he will crow at night if he suspects a predator around the coop.
It all depends on the rooster's personalities. Some just like the sound of their own voice more than others.
