Cryptocurrency is silly

The announcement of Crypto.com buying Staples stadium in Los Angeles has gotten me annoyed. Why?

I can’t stand hearing from social media comment saying Cryptocurrency is the future. I find it mostly made by people who bought cryptocurrency.
But I just have a hard time grasping how when many commerce don’t accept it! Very few accept it as payments. I have a friend that always brags how she going be rich with cryptocurrency. And deep down it bothers me what she claims about the benefits of investing in cryptocurrency. But I haven’t told her in her face that she is dreaming. LOL

You can’t buy much anything with cryptocurrency. I don’t see the value of even investing in it either.

Eh, some have gotten lucky. Hell, with NFTs some people have made hundreds of thousands by buying a picture at the right time. There's merit to it and it definitely is a way to make money, but saying it's the future is ludicrous.

My dad buys it and sells it when it's a bit higher. He's made a tiny amount of money, but nothing like what people think they'll make
