They’re not different breeds. Just different strains within one breed.Lacy roundhead. So im finding out I have 4 different types of hens. Seems like whoever used to breed them would use different breeds.
You appear to have American games. There are countless families and endless crosses. I only brought up a couple of common names, Kelso and Lacy, to point out that many American games are pea combed. In fact, there are more peacombed strains than probably ever existed, including most Hatch. I won't go into why, but the point is that American games are at least as likely to be peacombed as straight combed.
