I honestly was just trying to help you out since I know you're a young person with seemingly limited knowledge about chickens and hatching eggs, but you need to know that you got cheated by whoever sold you those eggs. I wouldn't ever sell that light of an egg nor would I accept them if I was buying them. ALWAYS ask to see pictures of the Marans eggs you are buying....in fact a reputable seller will provide them without even being asked for them. If I were you I'd ask for my money to be refunded.

I hate to see a young person being taken advantage of. If you're happy that's fine, but you didn't get what you paid for....or if they were free eggs you got exactly what you paid for them.
