cuckoo maran - girl or boy?

Hi there
So i got two new chickens today. A friend of ours was raising them for us and gave us two. A Silver lace wyndotte and a cuckoo maran.
Trouble is.. i don't know very much about marans and this one is so tall and angular, i am questioning if it's a boy. Its 3 months old. I know boys are supposed to be lighter in color with more banding.. but look at that tail? And it does seem to be fairly "outgoing." It was the largest chicken in the flock of chicks and the alpha bird. What do you think? Could it be a boy? I don't know enough about this breed to venture a guess.

It's a girl!! Mine are a little heavier set, but the color is exactly the same
