I just noticed that one has what I call a Sheild Comb. So maybe an Easter Egger mix. This is Cowboy and Basil, my supposedly cuckoo Marans… but then I saw brown on them and they have different colored feet, could the feet also depend on gender? The first four are Cowboy the others are squirmy little Basil
Oh wow, that’s a pretty boy, so he’d look similar to that?I just noticed that one has what I call a Sheild Comb. So maybe an Easter Egger mix.View attachment 2762037
The rooster/cockerels are Barred.Aren’t those guys more of two solid colors rather then speckled?
The comb should.Oh wow, that’s a pretty boy, so he’d look similar to that?
They don’t have much red, only around the face, the coloring is the same as a CM other then the slight brown by the face, Cowboy is the only one with brown on his body that I’ve noticed so farThe rooster/cockerels are Barred.
Hens/pullets are solid with red leakage, or are occasionally solid black.
I was telling you the difference between male, & female Black Sex-links.They don’t have much red, only around the face, the coloring is the same as a CM other then the slight brown by the face, Cowboy is the only one with brown on his body that I’ve noticed so far
Okay, thanksI was telling you the difference between male, & female Black Sex-links.
Like I said, they're most likely mixed breeds, such as sex links, or Easter Egger mixes.
