Meet Angus, our 15 week Cuckoo Maran rooster. He started life as Agnes until it was obvious he was really an Angus. Angus is one of our 6 new chicks for this year, and his been integrated into a flock of 5 already headstrong ladies. The ladies have not taken kind to Angus. They're independent women. Angus has also begun to discover is big boy voice. A big boy voice that's not welcome in a suburban neighborhood. Angus has been getting along great with the ladies he grew up with though, and provides for them... even though I'm the one providing while he takes the credit.
We're looking for a home for Angus, preferably one where he won't end up as soup. Perhaps a home who has easter eggers looking to make some of those fancy olive eggers.
I'm not sure how much longer the older ladies will put up with his antics. If interested or know someone who is, send me a message.
