Cuckoo Maran Rooster - Just north of Atlanta, Georgia

I have a Cuckoo Maran rooster that is very pretty and has a lovely lace pattern. He was supposed to be a girl but turned out to be a boy, and we are not supposed to have roosters so we have to let him go. He's about 4 months old now and he's just starting to try to mate with the hens now. He is usually very calm and pretty docile and will eat from the hand. We have rotated him back and forth between feed and foraging and he does well with both.
