Cuckoo Maran X Easter Egger

Hello everyone

Tomorrow I am starting a new batch of eggs in the incubator I have bred my Cuckoo Maran rooster to my Easter Egger hens (all lay blue or green eggs). I’m super excited to see how the chicks come out and I’m hopeful I will get some olive eggers out of the project. Has anyone bred this cross before? How did it turn out?

Well, I searched around the internet and here for some pictures as what you're drumming up isn't done a lot with the particular matchup you have, but there are many matchups to make Olive Eggers, one of which you obviously have! So while these aren't maybe what you were hoping to see, here are two articles or threads I found that might interest you:

The babies are here and this is what they look like They are black with white dots on their heads. Most of them have muffs and a few have a broze color on their face

Thank you. Does this mean that the white dot on the head means female chicks ? (the cross is Cuckoo marans rooster x Easter Egger. I just hatched some and I have 4 of those chicks.
