Cuckoo Marans?

And pullets? They were in the same locked bin listed under cuckoo marans at the Feed Store. My sis-in-law got two as well and they both have the white legs.

Curious on your opinions.


They are 8.5 weeks old.

Yellow legs with black stripe

White legs with black stripe

The one with the yellow legs if its a Cuckoo Marans then its mixed somewhere down the line.Cuckoo Marans don't have yellow legs,hatcheries might have mixed in barred rock to up the egg production.The egg color won't be as good in hatchery Cuckoo Marans as you would find in a good breeder.
