Here is my cuckoo gang. They all hatched yesterday like Popcorn, 25 total. I am so happy with this great hatch.They all have pretty dark skin. I got two Showgirls in this hatch too. I think one is a Partridge Showgirl. Before I only saw black and white Showgirls, so I guess that is pretty unusual? Love them all.

Nope sorry, I was looking for some a wile back and couldn't find any. Mine are two years old now. So I'm thinking they must have been on my other phone.
But It will take a little wile to see whitch ones will have stripes and who will be what ever else.
They all look adorable good luck with them!!

What color are cuckoo chicks when first hatched?

Black with a white head spot. Bellies and wing tips can be white or yellow, but aren't always.

One year later I am now hatching my own cuckoo babies (together with some other I hatched). They look pretty much like silver partridge chicks, but I got a Silver Partridge Cuckoo Rooster. So that might be the father, but don`t know it for sure since my Cuckoo rooster are breeding with solid color Hens. Guess the chance is 50/50.
