I'm still laughing about this. I'm trying to learn the lingo of things farming... I read culled more than once in different threads thinking people were using it as a funny made up word to use instead of "killed". Saying "Culled" with a redneck back woodsie twaaaaaaang sounds very similar to how I think killed would sound minus the messy visuals . For the heck of it I decided to Google cull and I'm surprised it pretty much meant the same thing. For those like myself who didn't know. From the free dictionary (by farlex) culled, cull·ing, culls 1. To pick out from others; select. 2. To gather; collect. 3. To remove rejected members or parts from (a herd, for example). n. Something picked out from others, especially something rejected because of inferior quality.
