Well, I got here late so all your great coffee was gone, George. I just brewed another pot if anyone is interested. I've been up, just got busy.

I hope it works out. My chickens will drink out of a cup but not the nipples. I think that has to start with chicks. My problem has been, I used the little cups on a heated water jug, but when the freezing temps came, the water froze in the cups. So they just didn't work for me.
 
Good morning I have used nipples forever both coops all three coops.
Never had one freeze, our climate is not the same as Val's.
I will hold beaks to the nipple if they are new birds.
Most learn watching the other birds.
I did make the coffee press this morning.

Well, i posted several pictures while we were tree cutting. Now i am just trying to get rid of rocks and leaves, plus stumps. But i can do a photo when it starts looking better.

I don't usually have to worry about freezing temperatures.

Maybe I'll just start with the nipples.
