Good morning I made myself 3 of them but have not used them yet.
Water has not frozen. I have had them like 3 or 4 years ?

Good morning everyone. Coffee is ready.

@CapricornFarm It's not that I can't get more water heaters, it's that I don't want electrical cords running all over their pasture. They have outdoor watering stations and those freeze up in these cold temps. They have a heated water dish indoors in their coop, but they don't go in there to drink except at night and early morning.

But I do like your heated watering system. Clever.

Thanks, i also use wax warmers in place of coffee cup warmers. And sometimes i use crock pots. I just am not paying the crazy high prices for heated buckets.

Good afternoon everyone! Fresh pot of coffee is on.

Frozen water fountains again this morning. We're supposed to be headed for slightly warmer, abeit rainy, days ahead. The chickens are not excited about the rain. Neither am I for that matter.

We did not freeze last night. They did say the rain is due to come back more north.

We're so close but our weather is so different sometimes. It was in the low 20's here. Could have something to do with the river. I'm not sure. Maybe the forest.
